The Undercover Spy Lab
The Site – CampingConsole.com
Flippa Listing - https://flippa.com/10916057-advertising-sports-and-outdoor
Date Sold - 17th September 2021
Price Sold For - $23,550
Age of Site When Sold – 5 Years
Details – This site was making $1,000 a month and sold for a nice $23,550.
Keywords Targeted – It targets keywords in the evergreen camping niche.
Backlinks – According to SEMRush there are around 4,420 backlinks in total from 794 referring domains.
What My Plan Would Be To Clone The Results – I would set up a brand new site using a domain name that had the word 'camping' in it. I would then create 1,000+ word content posts that target relevant keywords and place Amazon native ads on each page. I would most likely need to have 75+ posts on the site to become more of an authority but these can be added on an ongoing basis.
I would use social, Web 2.0 and PBN links to rank the site over the course of 12+ months. I would heavily focus on getting topically related and thematically related backlinks.
The aim would be to get to $2,000+ per month in profit and then sell for $40,000+
The Sniper Lab
The Sniper Lab is all about creating small 3-5 page websites that target buyer keywords with an Exact Match Domain (EMD).
You simply browse the Amazon marketplace to find products, then put those into the Google keyword planner and see what searches come up. Find one that gets 250+ searches a month that has a .com available domain and you're good to go!
You can use a free keyword tool like this one to get more accurate search volumes than the Google keyword planner now gives you.
These are really simple sites to make and each can make you 4 figures in profit when you sell them. They make great additions to add to your Amazon empire.

The Ranking Lab
Don't Overcomplicate It!
This months case study site really is the prime example of what an Amazon affiliate site should be.
It targets one niche.
That niche is evergreen.
The products pay a decent amount.
It has good content, all based around the one niche.
It has relevant backlinks from sites that mention camping in the URL, title and/or content.
If you repeat that process, then in most cases you're going to rank your site and make money with it.
Try not to overthink things. Just choose your niche, build a quality site and get relevant backlinks.
Then flip it for 5 figures 🙂
The Q and A Lab
There were no questions sent in this month, so here are some previous ones:
Q – What WordPress theme do you use for your sites?
A – I've used the Genesis Framework for years but recently have been using GeneratePress, which I'm quite impressed with. The free version is more than good enough.
Q – Do you buy links from Fiverr?
A – The only links I use sites like Fiverr for are social links. These are what I normally start a website with and they are mainly for branding purposes and to look natural. It's what a regular business website would start with.
Q – Do you write your own content?
A – I have a writer who does a lot of my content. Sometimes I write my own articles if I need them quick or I use ineedarticles.com which is fast and good enough for most sites.
