The Undercover Spy Lab

The Site – SteamCleanerMaster.com

Flippa Listing - https://flippa.com/10256430-advertising-home-and-garden

Date Sold - 23rd August 2019

Price Sold For - $15,995

Age of Site When Sold – 2 Years

Details – Here's a great example of a site that's just 2 years old and sold for a nice $15,995. It's in a really popular home cleaning niche and was a good 5 figure sale considering it was averaging just $350/m

Keywords Targeted – It targets keywords related to steam cleaners. There are 132 pages indexed in Google for the site.

Backlinks – According to MajesticSEO there are around 200 new backlinks in total from 100+ referring domains.

What My Plan Would Be To Clone The Results – I would set up a brand new site using a domain name that had the word 'steam cleaner' in it. I would then create 1,000+ word content posts that target relevant keywords and place Amazon native ads on each page. I would most likely need to have 70+ posts on the site to become more of an authority but these can be added on an ongoing basis.

I would use social, Web 2.0 and PBN links to rank the site over the course of 12+ months. I would heavily focus on getting topically related and thematically related backlinks.

The aim would be to get to $1,000+ per month in profit and then sell for $30,000 - $40,000.

The Sniper Lab

The Sniper Lab is all about creating small 3-5 page websites that target buyer keywords with an Exact Match Domain (EMD).

You simply browse the Amazon marketplace to find products, then put those into the Google keyword planner and see what searches come up. Find one that gets 250+ searches a month that has a .com available domain and you're good to go!

You can use a free keyword tool like this one to get more accurate search volumes than the Google keyword planner now gives you.

These are really simple sites to make and each can make you 4 figures in profit when you sell them. They make great additions to add to your Amazon empire.

The Ranking Lab

Sniping Traffic From YouTube - Part 2

I touched on this last month but I'm seeing some great results from YouTube recently, so thought I'd mention it again.

I've been using Content Samurai for a while now and really impressed by the software and the company. Some of their emails are incredibly valuable and share videos that have had millions of views and they were created by their software.

You can use YouTube to create backlinks to your money sites and web 2.0 sites. And also add your Amazon affiliate links right under your videos too.

And you can go and comment on other related videos, add your video links if you wish but if adding useful comments on popular videos, people will click on your name and visit your channel. So it's also a way to get fast traffic who are related to your topic.

Like I say, YouTube can be a real goldmine if you put just a little effort into creating useful videos that actually help people.

Here's the 7 day free trial to Content Samurai.

The Q and A Lab

Questions that have been sent in this month:

Q – What WordPress theme do you use for your sites?

A – I've used the Genesis Framework for years but recently have been using GeneratePress, which I'm quite impressed with. The free version is more than good enough.

Q – Do you buy links from Fiverr?

A – The only links I use sites like Fiverr for are social links. These are what I normally start a website with and they are mainly for branding purposes and to look natural. It's what a regular business website would start with.

Q – Do you write your own content?

A – I have a writer who does a lot of my content. Sometimes I write my own articles if I need them quick or I use ineedarticles.com which is fast and good enough for most sites.
