The Undercover Spy Lab

The Site – AgeDefyingGolf.com

Flippa Listing - https://flippa.com/10838257-13yr-old-golfing-wordpress-blog-making-185-21-m-from-multiple-revenue-sources

Date Sold - 30th April 2021

Price Sold For - $15,000

Age of Site When Sold – 13 Years

Details – This blog was making just $187 per month, yet sold for an amazing $15,000. Targeting the popular golf niche, it did have age but the low earnings is still a great sign that flipping is still alive and well!

Keywords Targeted – It targets keywords related to golf and golf products..

Backlinks – According to SEMRush there are around 4.120k backlinks in total from 451 referring domains.

What My Plan Would Be To Clone The Results – I would set up a brand new site using a domain name that had the words 'golf' in it. I would then create 1,000+ word content posts that target relevant keywords and place Amazon native ads on each page. I would most likely need to have 75+ posts on the site to become more of an authority but these can be added on an ongoing basis.

I would use social, Web 2.0 and PBN links to rank the site over the course of 12+ months. I would heavily focus on getting topically related and thematically related backlinks.

The aim would be to get to $1,000+ per month in profit and then sell for $40,000+

The Sniper Lab

The Sniper Lab is all about creating small 3-5 page websites that target buyer keywords with an Exact Match Domain (EMD).

You simply browse the Amazon marketplace to find products, then put those into the Google keyword planner and see what searches come up. Find one that gets 250+ searches a month that has a .com available domain and you're good to go!

You can use a free keyword tool like this one to get more accurate search volumes than the Google keyword planner now gives you.

These are really simple sites to make and each can make you 4 figures in profit when you sell them. They make great additions to add to your Amazon empire.

The Ranking Lab

New Niche Site Building Software

As you know, I'm a big believer in building all my sites from scratch, with unique content.

But I've been testing something in the past few weeks that has some real potential.

Check out YT Evolution here.

It's creates WordPress websites from YouTube channels. Fills them with video posts, spun content and you can monetize them however you wish.

The pages get indexed in Google really fasy and traffic comes in quickly too.

Check it out and start making some quick niche websites this month 🙂

The Q and A Lab

Questions that have been sent in this month:

No questions have been sent in this month, here are last months in case you missed them.

Q – How do I know how many words to put in my articles?

A – Just see what the competition has. View the top 10 sites in Google for your keyword and use a site like Word Count to see how many words they have on the page. Take an average of all sites and that's your goal. Although I would also add more words than the average.

Q – Do I need PBN's to rank?

A – It depends on the competition. You certainly don't need them, they just make things easier. But you can use outreach and guest posts to get highly related links which are just as powerful.

Q – Do I add all sites to Google Console?

A – No, I like to keep things separate and not connected. I will however add the sites I keep long term because it's a great way to find keywords to target and to generate content ideas.
