The Undercover Spy Lab

In this lab, we examine a site that has been sold and see how we can replicate the results (without all the guesswork.)

The Site –

Flippa Listing -

Date Sold - 28th February 2019

Price Sold For - $10,000

Age of Site When Sold – 18 Months

Details – Here's a great example of a five figure flip. The site is only 18 months old, yet was generating $1,350 on average over the last few months. So actually, it could have reached a price of a lot more.

Keywords Targeted – It targets keywords related to heating products.

Backlinks – According to MajesticSEO there are just over 100 links in total.

What My Plan Would Be To Clone The Results – I would set up a brand new site using a domain name that had the word 'heaters' in it. I would then create 3,000 word content posts that target relevant keywords and place Amazon native ads on each page. I would most likely need to have 40+ posts on the site to become more of an authority but these can be added on an ongoing basis.

I would use social, Web 2.0 and PBN links to rank the site over the course of 12+ months. I would heavily focus on getting topically related and thematically related backlinks.

The aim would be to get to $1,000+ per month in profit and then sell for $20,000 - $30,000.

The Sniper Lab

The Sniper Lab is all about creating small 3-5 page websites that target buyer keywords with an Exact Match Domain (EMD).

You simply browse the Amazon marketplace to find products, then put those into the Google keyword planner and see what searches come up. Find one that gets 250+ searches a month that has a .com available domain and you're good to go!

You can use a free keyword tool like this one to get more accurate search volumes than the Google keyword planner now gives you.

These are really simple sites to make and each can make you 4 figures in profit when you sell them. They make great additions to add to your Amazon empire.

Here are some domains you can use right now (each one is available as I'm typing this and haven't been used in the last 5 years): - 30 searches per month - 40 searches per month - 40 searches per month - 70 searches per month - 70 searches per month - 90 searches per month - 90 searches per month - 110 searches per month - 110 searches per month - 1000 searches per month

These will obviously be snapped up fast by members but give you an idea of what to look for. A new list will be added every month.

The Ranking Lab

Make Sure Your Links Are Relevant

I've said this countless times before but it's worth bringing up again. If you don't do this then you'll struggle to rank. If you do do this, then you'll find it SO much easier.

What does relevance mean?

It means that every link you get pointing to your website, should have your main keywords in the title and/or URL of the page.

Let's say you have a fishingreel website called and are building links, whether they are social, PBN's or guest posts.

You can get a link from site A which isn't about fishing and the title of the page is 'Great Website' and the URL is

You can get a link from site B which is about fishing and the title of the page is 'Fishing Reel Reviews' and the URL is

Hopefully you can see that site B is the only link worth getting. A link from site A won't do you much good at all.

Getting your keywords in these places is the key to ranking in 2019. Every link you get should have one of your main keywords in the title and/or URL.

Do this and you'll find is SO easy to rank every website!

The Q and A Lab

Questions that have been sent in this month:

Q – Do you use expired domains for PBN's?

A – No. Whilst they used to work great, they do leave a footprint because the date resets when it drops. So it's not a good idea to have links from only expired domains. Auction domains are always recommended as they keep the original registration date.

Q – How big do you build your money sites?

A – I generally get good results in the 30-50 page range. That's usually enough for a site to start getting daily sales which makes it easy to flip.

Q – Does the new Amazon direct deposit actually work?

A – Yes and I love it! No more trips to the bank to pay a cheque in and get charged for the privilege of doing so!
