The Undercover Spy Lab

The Site – BabyNeedsList.com

Flippa Listing - https://flippa.com/10382383-advertising-lifestyle

Date Sold - 23rd January 2020

Price Sold For - $12,500

Age of Site When Sold – 10 Years

Details – Here's another perfect example of an Amazon niche website. Targeting baby products and making money with both Amazon and Adsense.

Keywords Targeted – It targets keywords related to baby products.

Backlinks – According to MajesticSEO there are around 92 new backlinks in total from less than 100 referring domains.

What My Plan Would Be To Clone The Results – I would set up a brand new site using a domain name that had the word 'baby' in it. I would then create 1,000+ word content posts that target relevant keywords and place Amazon native ads on each page. I would most likely need to have 100+ posts on the site to become more of an authority but these can be added on an ongoing basis.

I would use social, Web 2.0 and PBN links to rank the site over the course of 12+ months. I would heavily focus on getting topically related and thematically related backlinks.

The aim would be to get to $1,000+ per month in profit and then sell for $30,000 - $40,000.

The Sniper Lab

The Sniper Lab is all about creating small 3-5 page websites that target buyer keywords with an Exact Match Domain (EMD).

You simply browse the Amazon marketplace to find products, then put those into the Google keyword planner and see what searches come up. Find one that gets 250+ searches a month that has a .com available domain and you're good to go!

You can use a free keyword tool like this one to get more accurate search volumes than the Google keyword planner now gives you.

These are really simple sites to make and each can make you 4 figures in profit when you sell them. They make great additions to add to your Amazon empire.

Here are some domains you can use right now (each one is available as I'm typing this):

babyshowerdresses.org

babyshowerchecklist.org

babyshowerdecorations.org

babyshowerinvites.org

babyshowergames.org

babyshowergift.org

babyshowergiftbasket.org

babyshowerhat.org

babyshowerkit.org

babyshowerlist.org

These will obviously be snapped up fast by members but give you an idea of what to look for. A new list will be added every month.

The Ranking Lab

Getting Traffic From Pinterest

You'll see that the example site this month gets all of it's traffic from Pinterest. So if you're struggling to rank on Google and/or YouTube, then it might well be worth taking a look at creating images for Pinterest.

Obviously the niche will make a difference but there's no reason why you couldn't upload images related to your niche and start getting clicks pretty fast.

And it's another asset to include when you flip the website.

Well worth looking into and there's plenty of information out there, along with low priced courses to teach how to best use the platform.

The Q and A Lab

Questions that have been sent in this month:

No questions have been sent in this month, here are last months in case you missed them.

Q – How do I know how many words to put in my articles?

A – Just see what the competition has. View the top 10 sites in Google for your keyword and use a site like Word Count to see how many words they have on the page. Take an average of all sites and that's your goal. Although I would also add more words than the average.

Q – Do I need PBN's to rank?

A – It depends on the competition. You certainly don't need them, they just make things easier. But you can use outreach and guest posts to get highly related links which are just as powerful.

Q – Do I add all sites to Google Console?

A – No, I like to keep things separate and not connected. I will however add the sites I keep long term because it's a great way to find keywords to target and to generate content ideas.
