The Undercover Spy Lab

The Site –

Flippa Listing -

Date Sold - 2nd November 2019

Price Sold For - $15,000

Age of Site When Sold – 3 Years

Details – Here's an example of a perfect Amazon affiliate website. Ranging between $200-$500 a month in profit and selling for $15,000. It reviews various foosball tables, which is a great paying niche.

Keywords Targeted – It targets keywords related to foosball.

Backlinks – According to MajesticSEO there are around 500 new backlinks in total from 100+ referring domains.

What My Plan Would Be To Clone The Results – I would set up a brand new site using a domain name that had the word 'foosball' in it. I would then create 1,000+ word content posts that target relevant keywords and place Amazon native ads on each page. I would most likely need to have 50+ posts on the site to become more of an authority but these can be added on an ongoing basis.

I would use social, Web 2.0 and PBN links to rank the site over the course of 12+ months. I would heavily focus on getting topically related and thematically related backlinks.

The aim would be to get to $1,000+ per month in profit and then sell for $30,000 - $40,000.

The Sniper Lab

The Sniper Lab is all about creating small 3-5 page websites that target buyer keywords with an Exact Match Domain (EMD).

You simply browse the Amazon marketplace to find products, then put those into the Google keyword planner and see what searches come up. Find one that gets 250+ searches a month that has a .com available domain and you're good to go!

You can use a free keyword tool like this one to get more accurate search volumes than the Google keyword planner now gives you.

These are really simple sites to make and each can make you 4 figures in profit when you sell them. They make great additions to add to your Amazon empire.

Here are some domains you can use right now (each one is available as I'm typing this): - 30 searches per month - 30 searches per month - 40 searches per month - 50 searches per month - 50 searches per month - 50 searches per month - 50 searches per month - 50 searches per month - 70 searches per month - 110 searches per month

These will obviously be snapped up fast by members but give you an idea of what to look for. A new list will be added every month.

The Ranking Lab

Don't Over-Complicate It

This months case study site really is the prime example of what an Amazon affiliate site should be.

It targets one niche.

That niche is evergreen.

The products pay a decent amount.

It has good content, all based around the one niche.

It has relevant backlinks from sites that mention foosball in the URL, title and/or content.

If you repeat that process, then in most cases you're going to rank your site and make money with it.

Try not to overthink things. Just choose your niche, build a quality site and get relevant backlinks.

Then flip it for 5 figures 🙂

The Q and A Lab

Questions that have been sent in this month:

No questions have been sent in this month, here are last months in case you missed them.

Q – How do I know how many words to put in my articles?

A – Just see what the competition has. View the top 10 sites in Google for your keyword and use a site like Word Count to see how many words they have on the page. Take an average of all sites and that's your goal. Although I would also add more words than the average.

Q – Do I need PBN's to rank?

A – It depends on the competition. You certainly don't need them, they just make things easier. But you can use outreach and guest posts to get highly related links which are just as powerful.

Q – Do I add all sites to Google Console?

A – No, I like to keep things separate and not connected. I will however add the sites I keep long term because it's a great way to find keywords to target and to generate content ideas.
